Description

This seminar is a unique seminar in which the recent developments in the USA and Europe on patent eligibility are presented. Both the business methods aspects (computer implemented inventions, software, business methods) and life sciences (genes and proteins, diagnostic methods, personalized medicines) will be covered. Key case law, and current landscape of patent eligibility will be explained and examples and strategies for your patent practice will be given.

Further, the US patent practice how to deal with these developments is put into perspective with the European patent practice.

The seminar is intended for patent practitioner/patent attorneys both in industry and private practice that need to know about patent eligibility in both USA and Europe.


Registration fee

epi member EUR 360,-
epi students EUR 180,-
non-epi member/non-epi students EUR 400,-

This fee covers training material and the catering for the whole event for one participant. The fee cannot be split and is not refundable if cancellation is requested less than 10 days before the start of the event.

Registration Deadline

Registration is open until 9 November 2015.
The order of receipt by epi will determine the attendance in case of over-subscription. No registration will be made before receipt of the payment.
